What is SurePost?

UPS SurePost is an economical residential ground service that combines the reliability and consistency of UPS's ground shipping network with the final delivery provided by the U.S. Postal Service. With Sure Post, UPS delivers packages to your local post office which are then included in regular mail deliveries over the following days. Delivery via this economy shipping method takes longer than UPS Ground delivery, but on the plus side they may be delivered on Saturdays.

Important: When Using SurePost

• Enter your current, valid mailing address for your delivery address (not your shipping address)
• Do not enter an address with mail forwarding - these packages will be returned undelivered and will be a assessed return fee
• The name on the box must match the name at the mailing address

Once your order has shipped you will be emailed a tracking number that you can use to follow the progress of your package. Delivery times range from 4-15 business days depending upon mail volumes and your distance from the West Coast.

What is the difference between SurePost and standard UPS delivery methods?

• UPS Ground is guaranteed (except pickups and deliveries during the holiday period from December 11th through December 24th). Delivery times depend on distance from our warehouse in CA. In general, the San Francisco Bay Area takes 1 day, Westcoast 2 days, Northwest and Mountain take 3 days, Central takes 4 days and East Coast takes 5 days. Please see the UPS Transit Time Map to check your particular location for expected time.
• UPS 3 Day is guaranteed and takes 3 business days after shipping. So if you place an order on Tuesday and it ships on Wednesday, it will be delivered on Monday (the 3rd business day).
• UPS 2 Day is guaranteed and takes 2 business days after shipping. So if you place an order on Wednesday and it ships on Thursday, it will be delivered on Monday (the 2nd business day).
• UPS 1 Day is guaranteed and takes 1 business days after shipping. So if you place an order on Thursday and it ships on Friday, it will be delivered on Monday (the 1st business day).
• Sure Post is not guaranteed and deliveries are dependent on volume, so during heavy shipping periods delivery times will be longer.
• SurePost has Saturday delivery, Standard UPS only offers this for a special fee. Please contact us if you wish to upgrade your service to have your order delivered on a Saturday.
