Kyle Design is an artist studio that creates unique, affordable gift items, jewelry and home accessories by designer Kyle McKeown Mansfield. For twenty-five years now, we have been known for quality hand craftsmanship, reliability and excellent customer service, and our work is carried in over 150 galleries, museum shops and fine crafts stores. Custom Gifts All decorative gift items are made to order, and most orders are shipped within one to two business days, although a few pieces take a bit longer to finish. In order to quickly customize your items, we prepare all the parts ahead of time. We cut the glass, prepare the etched and plated metal, form the aluminum, paint the silk or make the iridescent film and have these all ready to go when you place your order. Your gift item is then assembled using the design you selected layered over the thin sheet of aluminum or iridescent film of your choice.


Artist Biography Artist Kyle McKeown Mansfield has been creating her pieces professionally for twenty-five years. She knew even at a very young age that she wanted to grow up to be an artist so she could design and work with her hands. A great experimenter and largely self-taught, she combines a strong natural sense of design with a flare for color while creating works of etched metal, hand-painted silk and mixed media. Kyle also emphasizes quality workmanship.

Kyle is a naturally prolific artist, having grown up in a family that loved creating. She is the daughter of two nationally recognized artists: the late woodworker Robert G. McKeown and ceramic/stained glass artist Lee M. McKeown. Kyle is a 1983 graduate of U. C. Berkeley where she received a degree in Business Administration and also studied Japanese. She lives with her husband and two young daughters in Northern California.
