What's the story behind the Sheep design?

Kyle says: "My father grew up on a sheep ranch in No. California, and when he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to take a teaching job, he bought a house partly because the lot next to it had sheep. So when I was very young, there were sheep just a short distance from my backyard. The charm of the setting was destroyed when the neighbors sold out and the farm was paved over with a huge condominium complex. So sheep are a symbol of a simpler time for me."
