Resale Certificate Requirement for Tax Exempt Purchases
If you are located in California and are purchasing wholesale items for resale, we must have a valid, signed CA Resale Card on file in order to exempt the sale from California state sales tax. Tax exemption form is only valid for those intending to resell the items.
Fill out the CA Resale Certificate Form available from the California State Board of Equalization.
Please place your order first (sales tax will be included at the time of purchase.) Then fax the completed and signed form within 3 days to 925-454-5364 with your order number referenced on it. Once we receive your review your form and validate the exemption, we can then credit back your sales tax amount.
Note: purchaser must be in the business of selling the items requested for sales tax exemption for the exemption to be approved. Alternately, you may request a refund from the state at the time you file your sales taxes.
