I will be giving them out to my girl friends within the next few days. The story behind them is: I have girl friends that went to high school with me..we are now in our 40's and are all still very close and go on girl's trips together every year. This past April our trip was centered around seeing a brain surgery specialist in San Francisco...and a visit to Napa Valley for a day I will never forget. I am so glad I took lots of pictures to help us always remember. Anne is one of our friends who had to have surgery to remove a benign brain tumor last August. She was so very brave and told us that she was an eagle. After a successful surgery she had a stroke and had to undergo more surgery and was left on life support which was disconnected. At her memorial service in Florida many of us saw an eagle flying over us throughout the weekend that we were down there. It was really quite unbelievable when we compared what we had seen at different times/places. We loved her so much and are all lost without her. I thought the eagle ornaments were a way to honor her memory. I was really glad when I came across your web site after searching for the perfect thing. The ornament looks so beautiful on my Christmas tree. I am sure my friends will feel the same way.
