What inspired the Trophy Award design?

Kyle says: "As ends up being the case in many families involved in athletics, you often no longer have room for traditional trophies, and they get stuck in the back of a closet somewhere. In our situation, it was my husband's swim team trophies were collecting dust and needed to go. This got me to thinking that maybe other team members might prefer a gift award that was more creative, perhaps a memento that could be used or displayed in a different way. So my idea was to create a trophy alternative that still acknowledges the accomplishment but that can be enjoyed in more ways. As a result, I designed a retro strong man statuette who holds a star and stands on a platform stage in front of light beams."
