• GFCI Block Outlets are required if a water source is nearby unless there is a breaker on the circuit.
• Duplex Outlets, Decora Outlets, GFCI Decora Outlets and the Combo Decora Rocker/Outlets all have the Ground Fault leg openings (for 2 or 3 prong plugs).
• Toggle (On/Off Flip) Switches need an S = Single Toggle type plate opening. Duplex Outlet switches need an R = Single Outlet (2 Plug) type plate opening.
• Rotary Dimmers can be used with S = Toggle plates, CC = Cable plate with 3/8" opening or CL = Cable plate with 5/8" opening.
• Modular Telephone Jacks and CAT5 Jacks snap into our TJ = Telephone Jack 1, TJ2 = Telephone Jack 2 and TJ3 = Telephone Jack 3 switch plates.
• All other devices fit into J = Single Decora type plate openings (block style plates) - Decora Rocker Switches, 3 Way Decora Rockers, 4 Way Decora Rockers, Decora Outlets, Stacked Double Decora Outlets, Combo Decora Rocker/Outlets, GFCI Decora Outlets and Decora Slide Dimmers.
• All switches are glossy ivory unless noted. Pass & Seymour Decora Rockers, GFCI Decora Outlets and modular jack frames, etc. are satin (matte) white.

• Note When Attempting to Match Colors: Every electrical device manufacturer has their own shade of "ivory". Also, please keep in mind when attempting to match a currently installed plastic electrical device or wallplate that your old items likely have darkened over time making an exact match impossible.

Will these ivory devices match my old ones?

All currently manufactured ivory switches and outlets are very close in color but not exactly the same because every electrical device manufacturer has their own shade of "ivory". Also, please keep in mind when attempting to match a currently installed plastic electrical device or wallplate that the color of your old items likely has darkened or yellowed over time making an exact match impossible. Do satin and glossy ivory switches match?

The finish of shiny vs. matte ivory electrical devices does appear somewhat different depending on the lighting. Unfortunately, not all lighting manufacturers produce the full range of electrical devices in a single finish, so some mixing and matching may be required depending upon your wall switch plate configuration. The minor differences in look generally are not that noticeable once you have lived with them for a while.
