One gang wall cover plate with three horizontal openings for snap-in GE low voltage lighting devices. Retrofit for low voltage wiring systems installed in mid-century homes and certain brands of electrical setups for off-grid homes, RVs and boats. We custom make these plates to fit the new switches in the old style layout.

Horizontal Low Voltage Wall Plate Specs

Several types of low voltage wiring systems were installed in U.S. homes in the second half of the twentieth century (1950's, 1960's, 1970's). Please check dimensions and spacing carefully to ensure you have ordered the correct cover plates.

• Wall Switch Plates: Click Electrical Switches, Toggles, Outlets, Dimmers for Wall Cover Plates for coordinating devices.
• Screw Holes: Box mounting screw holes are 3.281" apart, center to center. Switches mount into coverplates, and coverplate mounts into electrical box. Matching switch plate screws included.
• Installation: These plates do NOT require mounting brackets unlike the original GE switches that mounted from behind. Current replacement General Electric low voltage switches mount directly into the switchplate - each device clips or snaps into plate from the front.
