What is the difference between the satin stainless steel and the 302 stainless steel finishes? The satin stainless steel is made of a 430 grade stainless steel in a brushed finish, which is your standard steel grade. 302 stainless steel is made using 302 grade stainless steel in a brushed finish, which is a superior grade stainless steel that is both non-magnetic and corrosive resistant. My wife got tamper resistant outlets for throughout the house. The outlets are rocker style, instead of duplex. Was cheaper to get all new rocker plates than get all new duplex outlets. Worth the investment. These metal outlet covers seem high quality. Hoping it will stand up to our kids!
