Buy with confidence. These are high quality wall plates. Can tell by feeling them, heavy and sturdy. I got the black finish to install in my home office. They describe it as an eggshell finish, wasn't sure what that meant. I would describe them to be neither glossy or matte, right in between. Glad, because I can't stand high gloss plates.

The polish chrome finish looks great installed on mirrors. Blends perfectly. They're so shiny, you can actual see your reflection in them. I prefer the chrome metal toggle plates to actual glass switch plates. I've had too many glass ones crack over the years. You do have to clean them like you do your mirror.
