During her pregnancy with her second child, Kyle was inspired by to create new designs representing heritage, family and parentage. As an Irish-American, Kyle was excited to create a design symbolic of her own background, the Celtic knot. Kyle modeled her knot work after the pattern that was first used in Roman mosaics dating back to the 3rd and 4th century AD.
