Will the standard length screws that are included be long enough to install these mission switch plates on my raised granite back splash?
Longer screws are often needed in these applications because the electrical box is mounted behind the deep material and the receptacle is in front of it. The standard screw length for rocker and Despard switch plate openings are 1/4", the standard screw length for all other switch plate openings (toggle, outlet, blank, telephone, etc.) is 1/2". Check with your installer or measure yourself to confirm that the standard screw length will be long enough. If they won't be long enough, we sell extra long screws to allow you to install your switch plates on the raised surface.
