Ivory is more of a yellowed finish and often likened to the color of bone. Light almond has much more of a peach hue and looks more like a flesh tone finish. The light almond color is a common choice for customers who decorate in a Traditional, Country, English Country, Vintage, French or Shabby Chic theme. My sister is opening her own bakery and I am helping her choose colors and furnishings for the interior. I like this light almond finish because it reminds me of pastries and frosting. Would you recommend this color for a cupcake bakery? Certainly. Light almond is a very warm and pleasant color for wall plates and not as harsh or visible as some other finishes. We would recommend this finish for beach cottages, bakeries, cake shops and pastry shops. I have light almond wall switch plates in every room but my laundry room and garage. I'm thinking about replacing the plastic ones in these spaces to match the rest of the house but was wondering whether your customers usually consider the garage and laundry room when installing colored wallplates. Yes, when remodeling or building homeowners who opt for switchplates in a particular finish choose to install them throughout the home for consistency and to increase the value of their house. Metal switch plates are useful in every room from your sun room, bedroom, bathroom and even in your laundry room, garage or kitchen because they are highly durable and are resistant to fading or cracking. My bedroom is decorated with pale wooden furnishings including a bed frame, end table and low armoire. Would light almond switchplates be a good finishing touch? Yes. Light almond switch plates have a warm undertone that is very complementary with lighter woods such as red oak, hickory, unstained American black cherry, and beech. I have a lot of white wicker furniture in my house and a patterned wallpaper with some champagne, peach and cream colors. I prefer to have switch covers that aren't just the standard white kind but have never purchased colored wall plates before. Would the light almond finish be a good choice? Most definitely. Light almond is a great match for homeowners who don't want traditional switch covers. Our light almond finish is comprised of a variety of shades including peach, beige white and tan but it significantly lighter than our ivory finish. These wallplates blend in nicely with a variety of wallpapers and paint colors including Polite White, Only Natural, A La Mode and Organza. Ships in 1 - 2 business days. Flat rate ground. Installed these in my entire house, along with your almond switches. I like the look better than white switch plates and switches. Matches my beige paint well. Very pleased.

Like better than ivory

I got an ivory and an almond plate to decide which finish I liked better. I ended up choosing the almond, had warmer, brown undertones that worked better with the beige paint color I had already chosen. The ivory had more yellow undertones. It is very true to the picture shown. The almond devices match nicely too.
