May be use in either a single pole or 3-way location.

Only one dimmer can be used on a 3-way circuit.
Dimmer wattage will degrade if mounted directly next to another dimmer. If mounted next to one device, wattage will degrade to 500 watts. If mounted between two dimmers, wattage will degrade to 400 watts.
