Dragonfly Rotary Light Dimmer Knobs

Rotary Dimming Knob Specs

• Dimensions: 1-1/2" plastic replacement dimmer knobs in Leviton, Lutron or GE stem types - view knob back view photo at left to determine stem type. Knobs are 1/2" deep.
• Not Sure Which Knob to Get? If possible, remove wall plate and look for brand name on device itself. Hint: Compare Allen wrench to stem size to check diameter.
• Leviton: Leviton devices have a 7/32" diameter "D" shaped white plastic stem. Knobs have two wings in straight alignment, creating a "D" shaped opening for stem.
• Lutron: Lutron devices have a 7/32" round white plastic stem with slit bisecting the end. Dimmer knob has "C" shaped opening on back.
• GE: General Electric devices have a 3/16" round metal stem with slit bisecting the end. They push in to turn on, then rotate to dim. Discontinued brand used in older homes. Old style dimmer knobs have circular opening on back, current replacement knobs have circular opening with two "wings" protruding into the center situated at a right angle to each other.
• GE Knobs Please Note: Current GE replacement knobs are slightly different than older ones. On stem type photo, top right GE knob is the current GE replacement dimmer knob; bottom right GE knob is the old discontinued style. Both knobs fit GE stem types.
• Installation: GE Knobs Installation Instructions: Be sure to fit one "wing" on inside of GE knob into one side of the metal stem slot for a tight fit.
• Alternative Uses: GE knobs may also work as replacement GE rotary ceiling fan control knobs.
