Slide clips are stationary and slide right over a pocket or waistband. Best choice when used with key ring lanyards as they slide right onto a split ring.
Swivel bulldog clips open by pinching the clip which is attached to the plastic holder in one spot allowing it to pivot. It can be clipped to fabric anywhere and at any angle, but the clip is a little large to fit over the split ring of a lanyard, forcing it to hang forward slightly. The end of the bulldog clip is about 3/8" wide with a smooth jaw so it won't damage fabric like alligator clip teeth may.

Work horses

These reels are little work horses. They hold up for a long time and are pretty good looking compared to a plain reel. I prefer the light weight reels.

My sister is an RN in an emergency room in the Midwest. She was using this cheapo reel that a pharmaceutical company gave out for free. I purchased her several of these reels for her birthday. I got a nice selection as a sort of holiday collection. I got the Christmas tree, fireworks, pumpkin, turkey, heart, iris, flip flops, RN and Christian cross. I gave her an assortment of reel colors. She really loved it. The best part is she uses it all the time. She has fun changing the reels depending on her mood or the season! The reels were nice quality and customer service was great.
