Slide clip is stationary and just slides right over a pocket or waistband. These work best with lanyards as they slide right onto a split ring. The swivel bulldog spring clips open by pinching the clip.
Bulldog clip is also attached to the plastic holder in one spot that allows it to pivot. It can be clipped to fabric anywhere and at any angle, but the clip is a little large to fit over the split ring of a lanyard, forcing it to hang forward slightly.
