What influenced Kyle to create this Celtic Knot design?
During her pregnancy with her second child, Kyle was inspired to create new designs representing heritage, family and parentage. As an Irish-American, Kyle was excited to create a design symbolic of her own background, the Celtic knot. Kyle modeled her knot work after the pattern that was first used in Roman mosaics. This particular motif was most prevalent in Celtic and Christian designs and is rooted in spirituality and theology.

What does the Celtic Knot on this jewelry box feature?
As seen in Kyle's interpretation of the Celtic knot, some of the most common attributes are pointed returns, repetition, over and under construction and uniform width of cords. The interlacing pattern represents the crossing of our physical and spiritual paths in life and is believed to stand for "no beginning, no ending, the continuity of everlasting love and binding together."
