Corporate Logo Engraving Services Have your company name and corporate logo engraved on classic metal business card cases in silver or gold using quality diamond tip engraving. Kyle Design also engraves money clips, flasks, purse hooks, and other items as well. For small or large jobs, we can engrave your logo and company name. The diamond-tipped engraving head cleanly and precisely cuts into the surface of the item to create a beautiful, traditionally elegant image. Note: We do not offer laser engraving, a process which bakes a plastic film onto the surface of the item. Laser engraved areas feel grainy.

• Ten Piece Minimum: There is a 10 piece/$200 total job minimum to set up and engrave your corporate logo or image. No exceptions, please.
• File Format: We will not be able to engrave your artwork unless an appropriate file format can be provided. Before contacting us, please read Engraving File Formats to determine whether your file format is appropriate for custom logo engraving. We cannot use files with .bmp, .tiff, .jpg, bmp, gif, or .pdf (or converted .eps) file extensions, nor can we use photos or images with any shading. Double-check that your logo file complies with our format and layout requirements. If your file is usable, please email us for further instructions.

The logo engraved business card holder at left has an outlined logo. This is the most economical type of company logo engraving and is typically appropriate for bold shapes and lettering.

The logo engraved business card holder at left has a hatch-filled logo. Note that light reflects at different angles off the hatch-filling depending upon direction of fill which is determined automatically by the engraving machine. Dark areas in photograph are still just hatch-filled but appear slightly in shadow depending upon the viewing angle.

Note: If you need multiple colors printed on your item, that would involve color screen printing. It is a completely different process and we do not provide this service.

Etching - "Cutting With Acid" We can create an etched metal plate of your corporate logo or design to embellish a business card case, money clip, bookmark, magnet or other gift item. We can also work with you to create a unique piece depending upon the quantities required. Often more economical for very large orders, and appropriate when needing a distinctive shape or look.

We can place a thin layer of aluminum or film behind a stencil-like logo. If you want color behind the logo or an open design on another color item, the logo design must be like a stencil with no floating elements. Etching: In the areas where the acid cuts through the metal sheet completely you can place a background color material behind it. This design floats over the green aluminum background.

• Here, we etch a tree design into a sheet of nickel silver (gray in the photo at left).
• The green color is a thin piece of aluminum behind the design with the nickel silver tree design sitting on top of it.
• The black border pattern and detailing in the tree are recessed areas etched (cut) into the surface of the metal sheet. These recessed areas have been oxidized black to help make the design "pop".
• Stencil-Like Designs: Notice that the tree design in metal must be connected to the frame, otherwise it will fall out.

Color Options: Color can possibly be incorporated into the piece if design has no floating elements or if you are will to allow design modifications to adapt it to this process.

Design Limitations: If your design does have floating elements, we can also etch the design in relief with the background either oxidized or with a two-tone gold finish. Please see Decorative ID Badge Holders for examples of this technique.

Fees: Minimum tooling costs are $300, plus possible additional design fees to modify your digital image, if necessary, to suit this process or the item.

Lead Time: For custom etching, we usually require a 4 - 6 week lead time for smaller orders and a 6-10 week lead time for larger orders. There is a 50-piece minimum.

Copyrighted Images: We will need written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce copyrighted designs.

• Minimums: A minimum order starts around 50 pieces. Design fees will apply.
• Marking: Items will be marked as created and produced by Kyle Design for your company, but may be able to retain your copyright depending upon the images.
• Modifications: We can use your artwork and size it to fit pieces we currently produce or we can embellish the artwork with additional elements to integrate the image into a cohesive design fitting the shape needed.
• Tooling Costs: One time tooling costs are $300, plus possible additional design fees to modify your artwork, if necessary, to suit this process or the item. For custom etching during non-holiday periods, we usually require a 4 - 6 week lead time for smaller orders and a 6-10 week lead time for larger orders. Custom work orders placed during holiday periods (October 1 - December 31) may take up to 4-6 weeks longer to produce.
