- U.S. Lead Time: We normally process most domestic orders during non-holiday periods (January 15th - Thanksgiving) within 1 - 2 business days if there are no problems with the order (billing issues, unselected options, etc.) Transit time depends upon shipping method selected. We are closed on weekends and holidays.
- International Lead Time: Canadian, international and APO/FPO orders are normally shipped within our standard processing time range.
FLAT RATE SHIPPINGKyle Design offers a low flat rate ground shipping charge of $8.50 for deliveries to one street address in the continental U.S. For one item or 100, you pay just $8.50. The more you buy, the more you save. It's just our way of saying thank you. Offer excludes international address, PO Boxes and locations outside the continental US. Delivery Times During Non-Holiday Rush Periods
- Delivery times are for orders shipped via UPS to most U.S. locations and addresses.
- We make every attempt to provide same day shipping on 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air orders placed before 3:00 pm. ET, mid January through mid November.
- Click on the UPS Ground Time-In-Transit Map to determine your zone for expected domestic ground delivery times to your area.
- UPS does not deliver on weekends or holidays unless you request the special Saturday delivery service.
- If you need Saturday delivery, please contact us for a quote to your area or request it in the Order Notes section during checkout. UPS charges a special delivery fee for this service. This surcharge is usually in the $25 range. This surcharge is in addition to the shipping costs.
- We ship via UPS to all locations within the continental U.S. or via UPS Priority Mail (signature required) when UPS is not an option. Sorry, we cannot ship to a P.O. box unless it is the same as your billing address (APO and FPO addresses excepted).

UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air Delivery Guarantee UPS guarantees Air deliveries even during holiday periods, weather permitting. However, ground service is not guaranteed during holiday periods.
- The Service Guarantee does NOT apply to UPS commercial and residential Ground shipments or UPS Standard to Canada shipments that are picked up or scheduled to be delivered between December 12 and December 24.
- The guarantee for on-schedule delivery for all other Air and International service shipments delivered within the United States will be extended by 90 minutes on the Day after Thanksgiving Day and on December 19 through December 24.
Carrier ChoiceUPS is our carrier of choice because we find their service, rates and billing to be the most reliable, reasonable and accurate. We keep our rates as reasonable as possible and so offer low flat rate shipping. UPS standard rates are, in fact, generally slightly
more than our flat rate charge for most delivery areas, even for small packages. We ship all orders in boxes via methods that can be tracked and confirmed. We do not ship in envelopes via regular US mail because we want to be assured that our customers receive their items.
Because of the increase in fraud, we now require a signature for any packages sent via U.S. Priority Mail or USPS International Express.

Determine Shipping Time and Cost. Our shipping zip code here in California is 94551, and a sample East Coast zip in Washington, DC is 20001. (On a sample date of August 28, 2008, this amount was $10.32.) We offer flat rate shipping and determine our cost based on the fact that the majority of online orders come from the East Coast (where the population density is greatest). We average our costs, add a small amount for a box, while still keeping in mind our flat rate shipping policy. The more you buy, the more it costs us, yet you pay only the flat rate.
We are proud of the reasonable rates we offer and make them readily available. As soon as you put an item into your shopping cart you can see what your total shipping costs will be for
any method you select. We do not hide shipping costs at any point from you, as many sites do.
Note for APO/FPOs, Other US Territories
- We will notify you when your package ships so please watch for it. Check your emails (or your spam and bulk mail folders) for the shipment notice.
- We use the less expensive shipping option of postal services (US Postal Service or Mail Innovations) or USPS Priority Mail for these addresses because it is most popular, however we prefer to ship via standard UPS or UPS Expedited in order to guarantee delivery and provide tracking and delivery information. We find UPS to be more reliable than using postal services.
PO Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands
- Sent via Priority Mail for a flat rate of $8.50 per package.
- Usually arrives within 2 - 4 business days after order ships.
- If desired, please call to upgrade your order to UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air shipping for Hawaii or Alaska. We will quote you, although costs are usually 50% - 75% greater than rates in the continental U.S.
- Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands: Choose PR or VI for "State" and United States for "Country" when entering address for option for flat rate shipping.
APOs, FPOs, other US territories (Guam, etc.)
- Priority Mail
Flat rate of $8.50 shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
- APOs can take up to 8 weeks to arrive.
International Addresses
Incorrect Shipping Address We use an automated system to export your shipping address into UPS.
- The shipping address entered into our web site shopping cart is automatically transferred to UPS.
- We do not edit this address unless requested to do so.
- Please be sure your address is typed in correctly and review the Notification Of Order that you automatically receive after placing your order.
- Orders with incorrect or incomplete addresses, or which have been rerouted to a different address, will be billed the UPS $10 address correction fee ($11 for air shipments) at a later date.
If You Notice An Incorrect AddressIf your package has not left our studio, we can easily change an incorrect address.
If your package has already been shipped, first track your package at
www.ups.com with the tracking number that we emailed you in your Shipment Notification. (Please check your bulk mail folder first before calling us if you have not received this automatic email.)
Once your package arrives at your nearest hub, call 1.800.PICK UPS (742.5877) early that morning. They will contact the local UPS drivers with the change of address before it goes out for delivery. You must wait until the package arrives at the local hub before contacting UPS as they will not do anything before then.
Weather Caused Delays We are not responsible for weather caused delays in the arrival of your package and do not credit shipping costs. UPS also does not give credit for shipping costs in such situations.
Order DelaysPlease review your order carefully - omissions will cause delays. Make sure you do not have phrases such as "Choose Size", "Choose Color", "Choose Metal Finish". We
cannot complete orders with these
unselected choices so your order will be delayed.
Sales Taxes Sales taxes are charged on all orders delivered within California. Additionally, sales taxes based on delivery location are charged on the shipping/handling costs for these orders as required by the State Board of Equalization. No sales taxes are collected on orders shipped to any other states.
