We are remodeling our kitchen and installing a solid surface countertop. Will we need longer screws to mount the decorative switch plates?
Longer screws are often needed in these applications because the electrical box is mounted behind the deep material and the receptacle is in front of it. Take a quick look at your setup or check with the installer to confirm. We do have extra long screws available for just such installation situations if you should need them.
